The shares soared by over 50p to a new high after Somero said that thanks to strong demand from the USA, particularly in the last two months of the first half, it has upgraded guidance for the full year. Turnover and EBITDA are now expected to be US$110m and US$35m, respectively, up from US$100m and US$31m, due to high customer workloads on the back of roaring non-residential construction activity as well as project backlogs extending into 2022, reflecting a catch-up after the Covid-19 delays. FinnCap has raised eps forecasts from 39.9 cents to 45.4 cents (32.8p), rising to 48.7 cents (35.2p) in FY '22.
