Vistry has been a roaring success for TMI on multiple occasions - most memorably in July 2020 at 860p, when pandemic stimulus ignited a housing frenzy and the shares blasted to 1324p, and then again in November 2023 at 790p, right after the transformative Countryside Properties acquisition, powering them to 1400p amid the post-deal glow.  The Countryside move was the real turning point. It shifted Vistry away from the traditional housebuilder model and into something a bit more interesting: a partnerships-driven operator focused mainly on affordable and social homes (SAHP).
