Shares in Vistry have hit £13, a huge return on the 573p at which I featured them last November. Since then they have climbed remorselessly following a succession of positive updates, the latest of which has raised pretax profit guidance for FY’21 from at least £310m to c. £325m.  Vistry said average private weekly sales rates rose a stellar 21% on 2019 to 0.75 per sales outlet per week (2020: 0.44; 2019: 0.62), while house building is on track to complete c. 6,500 units (FY’20: 4,652), ahead of previous expectations and with an improvement in gross margin to boot. Vistry Partnerships has continued its excellent progress towards FY’22 targets of £1billion sales and a 10% operating margin. The forward sales position stre ...
