Having featured Plus500 as a main write-up back in November ‘24 at 2464p, it’s been thoroughly gratifying to watch the shares burst through £46 inside just 18 months. Quite the run. The business delivered an excellent first quarter, with customer income (gross profit) climbing a robust 53% year-on-year to US$270m. New customer numbers rose by the same margin, showing strong momentum across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. This reflects both favourable market conditions and the power of their scalable, technology-driven acquisition machine operating across an ever-wider footprint.
