Plus500, which allows customers to trade in Contracts for Difference (CFD) through an online platform, reported Q3 revenue of US$216m, well ahead of forecasts for US$150m and 96% ahead of the same period a year ago. EBITDA also rose a strong 91% to US$134m, against consensus of US$75m.New customers rose 90% to 46,238 while active customers (trading in the last 12 months) increased 78% to 197,976. Average revenue per user jumped 10% to US$1,093. Given the shift to higher value customers, as previously telegraphed, the average user acquisition cost rose 16% to US$1,066.
