Hunting now expects current year EBITDA to be at the bottom of the full year guidance range of US$135m-US$145m. But that’s still usefully up from the US$126m in FY24, against the backdrop of oil price weakness. OCTG continues to have a good year, thanks to the large Kuwait Oil Company orders and good demand from North America. The previously struggling Titan reported stronger profitability, based on ongoing cost cuts and wider sales in South America and the Middle East. Subsea has continued to progress, with project execution in Guyana and the Black Sea. Nevertheless, the restructuring in Subsea’s EMEA region, including moving facilities from the UK, Norway and the Netherlands to the UAE, has created some short-term disruption. ...
