The shares soared triumphantly to an all-time high of 466p after house builder Crest Nicholson published strong results and announced plans to reduce dividend cover from 2.7x to just 2x, which means dividends are now forecast to soar from 14.3p in ’14 to 33.2p in ’17!For the year to 31 October turnover increased 21% to £636m while pretax profit and eps both rose 34% to £117m and 38.7p respectively. Housing unit completions jumped 17% to 2,530, meeting a key milestone a year early as improving economic conditions and better mortgage availability underpinned the market.
