Consumers are nervously tracking the price of gas as we hurtle towards winter and although prices have fallen by a third from recent peaks they remain six times higher versus two years ago. Against that favourable backdrop, Energean, a fully-listed gas-focused producer with interests mainly in Israel and Egypt, has already seen its shares more than double in the past two years, not only because of rising energy prices but also thanks to stunning operational developments, most notably achieving first gas at its flagship Karish development c. 80 km offshore the North of Israel.
