Despite the well publicised constraints on new and used vehicle supply, Auto Trader, whose online marketplace matches buyers to sellers, put out decent finals with revenues rising 9% to £500m and EBITDA increasing 7% to £328m. Eps increased by 6% to 27.1p. Net debt was £43m (FY’22) versus net cash (£51m) reflecting the Autorama deal. Average revenue per retailer increased 10% to £2,437, split by price (+£90) and  product (+137) demonstrating good pricing power and a strong adoption of additional products and services. However, the £11.2m loss from online leasing business Autorama meant that group operating margin fell 14.7% to 55.5%.
