Coming so soon after its recent £30m equity fund raise there was little in its final results for  the year ended March to alarm or excite investors. The loss of the large Convatec contract meant trading profit (before exceptional items and acquisition, amortisation and pension costs) fell 27% to £27.8m on sales that increased almost 3% to £320.6m.Guidance for H1 ‘21 is that trading is better than expected (at the time of its Covid-19 update) with sales in industrial tapes expected to fall c.35% (more than half due to weakness in the automotive sector) whilst healthcare (advanced wound care, consumer wellness) is expected to see a 29% reduction largely due to a slow recovery in elective surgeries. < ...
