The shares climbed to a new high of 670p after ventilation products group Volution’s year-end update observed a modest acceleration in growth with constant currency revenue growth of 20% and organic revenue growth “over 5%” in the year ended July. Meanwhile the large Fantech acquisition, which completed last December, also contributed strongly. Interestingly, the UK was the stand-out, underpinned by residential revenue, with resilient refurbishment demand and good performance in new build housing. Continental Europe improved in H2 thanks to central Europe, Nordics were tougher and Australia is going well.
