Ten pin bowling operator Ten Entertainment has clearly been in the Covid-19 firing line these past few months but half year results brought some cautious optimism. While it succumbed to a pretax loss of £5.7m (H1 ’19: profit: £7.3m) on sales down 46% to £22.5m, with just over half the period wiped out by lockdown, strong cost control meant net debt only rose to £6.7m (H1 ’19: £3.2m). That leaves un-used headroom of £18.3m (H1 ’19: £11.8m).
