Like its rival Hollywood Bowl (see pages 4 to 6), Ten Entertainment is enjoying the re-opening surge with like-for-like sales up 29% between 17 May and 26 December, albeit held back by some larger groups cancelling in December due to Government messaging and constraints in Wales and Scotland (where 13% of outlets are located). In the week beginning 27 December, the previous +30% like-for-like resumed with record sales at Christmas and New Year. Like-for-like volumes grew by c. 24% with the VAT cut boosting sales less than 3% while pricing remained stable. Peel Hunt has upgraded forecasts with new eps of 3.6p in FY’21, rising to 17.5p and then 19.9p in ’22 and ’23.
