The highlight of defence firm Babcock’s in line Q3 trading update was its selection as “prime industrial partner” to Indonesia’s £4bn Maritime Partnership program as well as agreement for two further Arrowhead 140 frigate licences, which should add 3% to EPS forecasts if signed by March. Other new work includes on the US Virginia Class submarine program (building submarine assemblies at Rosyth), while there’s a long list of programs it’s currently bidding for not factored into forecasts.
