ASA International - EPS to double after yet another “beat”

One of my 2026 New Year NAPS, the microlender ASA International, has blown the doors off market forecasts. A little over a year ago it was gunning for EPS of 23.2 cents in FY25 but several upgrades later, including a bullish update on 29 January, it’s now expected to post 57 cents, for a whopping 100% year-on-year growth. This year’s forecast, which previously stood at 33.3 cents, has since been upgraded several times and is now 69.7 cents (51.5p). Founded in 2007, ASA provides microfinance loans to women entrepreneurs in Africa and parts of Asia and operates in 12 countries, of which Pakistan, the Philippines, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda represent the major part of the business.
