Reach, the UK’s sixth largest digital news publisher with over 120 brands including the Mirror and Express and many regional titles and a digital audience of 34m (c. 70% of the population), revealed finals showing a 2.4% rise in operating profit to £105m on sales down nearly 4% at £518m. Having reduced costs almost 6%, operating margin rose 1% to 20% and with plans to shut two of its three remaining print facilities, it’s expecting similar cost reductions in 2026 at a total expected restructuring cost of around £30m. Reach held its chunky 4.46p final dividend after net debt rose modestly from £14.2m to almost £35m.
