UP Global Sourcing (UPGS) is a fast-growing owner, licensee, developer and manager of popular consumer brands for the home with best-selling products including Beldray (ironing boards); Salter and Russell Hobbs (both kitchenware); and Intempo (an innovative audio brand for teenagers). UPGS only came to market on 1 March but the shares have quickly rattled up from the 128p placing price to the current 220p and it’s not hard to see why; between the years ending July 2013 – 2016 turnover has soared from £52.6m to £79m, turning a small loss into a profit of £5.8m while in the six months ended 31 January ’17 turnover and pretax profit increased 62% and 78% to £68.1m and £8.4m, respectively.
