Shares in veterinary practice group CVS have endured a difficult period following the CMAs review into the industry (looking into pricing and transparency issues) but the shares have rallied over 50% from lows ahead of the regulator’s provisional decision in September. Meanwhile CVS’ update for the year ended June contained no alarms with adjusted EBITDA of c. £134m bang in line and 10% higher year-on-year, with underlying revenue flat and EBITDA margins of 20%, up 70 basis points.
