Serabi Gold’s first-quarter  reported gold production of 12k oz for the March quarter, beating expectations by 1k oz, driven by stronger-than-anticipated throughput at the Palito plant. Increased ore volumes from both Coringa and Palito are now feeding through, suggesting the group is beginning to unlock the benefits of its multi-asset setup. Serabi is literally minting money with gold close to US$5,000 / oz and net cash  rose US$15m to US$64m, impressive given an expected US$9m maiden dividend outflow and was boosted by a tactical unwind of inventory from the previous quarter.
