Since my last update four months ago the shares have risen almost vertically by over £3 to a new high of 1436p as hopes rise that European Governments will increase defence spending to reduce their reliance on the USA with the new German Government expected to lead the way. Cohort has also announced a new 5-year contract with Thales UK as part of the Maritime Sensor Enhancement Team (MSET) program. This will involve the provision of waterfront support maintenance, repairs and regulatory inspections on towed array handling equipment at the Royal Navy’s UK dockyards and overseas.
