JTC has finally fallen to a 1340p-a-share bid from private equity firm Permira, valuing the group at £2.7bn. The exit multiple is more than 26x JTC’s EBITDA in the 12 months ended June, on what was the sixth proposal by Permira. While Shore Capital struggles to see a higher competing bid emerging, Investec believes the price a low one. Overall, a 30% gain on my main write-up in December ‘24 at 1028p. I will await developments, just in case another bid emerges.  ...
