While the shares have re-traced to pre-Covid 19 levels on a gloomy macro outlook Brickability is now a much better and more resilient business. Its H1 update said revenues grew 58% (like-for-like growth:10%) to £353m while EBITDA will be at least £25m, up from £18m a year ago. All four divisions achieved sales and profit increases notwithstanding continued high energy costs and inflation, with its most profitable Bricks and Building Materials division growing despite the normalisation of performance in its timber business following the exceptional highs of 2021.
