Serabi Gold - Big upgrades as gold price electrifies margins

The shares motored to a new high of 190p, tracking gold’s own record breaking run. This is showing nicely in step increases in profitability with Q1 25 results revealing an 11% rise in gold production to 10,013 oz and a 164% jump in EBITDA to US$12.4m (a US$1m beat), aided by lower-than-expected site costs, principally labour and consumables. EPS were in line due to higher rates of mining at Coringa (now the ore sorter is in operation) driving up depreciation to US$1.8m.  Crucially, at its AGM, Serabi also flagged improving gold grades in 2025 of around 7 g/t of gold compared to 5 g/t, boosted by a new grade sorter at Coringa, which became operational six months ago.   In spite of US$6.3m capex, cash more than double ...
