In spite of concerns over falling housing transactions since April PVCu double glazing specialist, Safestyle, released an excellent update, with sales increasing 8.9% in H1, even though June sales were lower than a very strong June 2013. Market growth was 4.3% in terms of installations, while Safestyle’s market share grew 0.4% to 8.24%. Although advertising rates have strengthened in the past six months the combination of economies of scale and better gross margins from the shift from door-to-door canvassing to digital lead generation means it’s bang on track to achieve forecasts for eps of 15.3p this year and 17.4p next.
