Having warned of three contract cancellations NCC has released more detail, confirming those contracts were high margin and worth £14m-£18m profit. It’s also released interims, which showed revenues rising 35% (underlying: 21%) to £125.8m helped by acquisitions while pretax profit was £7.4m, versus £7.5m in H1 ’16.Within Assurance, revenues rose 42% (like- for-like: 21%) to £104.8m and while those cancellations were a setback, the outlook remains strong with cyber security a top priority for corporates and Governments alike.
