The shares leapt after Volution said a strong start to the financial year combined with contributions from three acquisitions means trading is ahead of the current range of expectations. Revenues for the four months ended 30 November were c. £121m, up 8%, while gross and operating margins improved versus FY’23 thanks to strong pricing discipline. All three regions grew well with UK residential performing the strongest. Both public and private refurbishment in the UK have been supported by greater awareness of indoor air quality and the resolution of mold and condensation issues.
