Volution - Shares rally after forecasts nudged higher

The effects of global warming can once again be seen in the extraordinary autumn weather with balmy temperatures seen here and in mainland Europe. Such events and the added urgency on Governments to reduce carbon emissions help explain the strong performance by Volution, the market leader in domestic ventilation products and systems, which has said FY23 results were slightly ahead of forecast with the UK (c. 50% revenues) the key driver. Revenues grew 6.6% (5.1% organic) to £328m and pretax profit rose almost 7% to £65.1m. The UK grew 8.3% like-for-like with residential markets, helped by strong landlord demand (damp /mould), growing 19.5%.
