Shares in aerospace and defence electronics firm, Ultra have encountered turbulence because of uncertainty surrounding the next US budget, but we think it’s unfounded because this business covers niche areas such as battle space IT and cyber security, which are considered high priority by Western governments. And so it's still proving with interim results showing revenues up 8% to £370m, pretax profit rising 5% to £54.5m and eps increasing 6% to 58.1p.
