Although we introduced a stop-loss of 263p in August the shares bounced back sharply by 144p to 427p in the last two months. The catalyst was a more upbeat outlook that accompanied its final results. These showed pretax profit rising 16% to US$10.8m, with eps increasing 23% to 31.6 cents. Cash at year end was US$28.8m (2011: US$24.2m).Craneware supplies billing and auditing software to US hospitals to improve their financial performance and prevent them getting fined or worse by Medicare Recovery Auditors for making over or under payments.
