Prezzo - The new Ask Central?

Restaurant operator, Prezzo, joined AIM on 22 March following a placing by Beeson Gregory of 3.25m shares at 50p to raise Â£1.3m. The shares closed the first day at 89p, a premium of 79%. The most likely explanation for this amazing performance is that investors have noted the presence of Philip Kaye, Prezzo's joint founder and largest shareholder, who holds 53% of the equity. Kaye, who remains as a consultant to assist Prezzo withstrategy and site determination, had previously founded andsuccessfully built up the Golden Egg and Garfunkels restaurantchains (now City Centre PLC).
