Cake Box has released an encouraging H1 update with revenues of £8.6m. This, excluding the six week lock down, meant like-for-like sales rose 12.1%. The company has benefited from the launch of its delivery service through takeaway platforms like Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo with online sales increasing 81%.Despite restrictions, six new franchise stores opened, taking the total to 139 plus five kiosks.
