  Vp provides specialist equipment for hire such as tools, alloy towers, temporary roads and shoring equipment for water companies. Earnings for the years ended March ’22 and ’23 have just been upgraded from 58.5p and 70.8p to 71.6p and 84.6p, respectively. It is no surprise really. CEO Neil Stothard and CFO Allison Bainbridge, who I met with over the month, confirmed that its largest market, infrastructure, is running hot - now up a fifth on its pre-pandemic level - while housebuilding also continued to expand in May despite days lost to tropical downpours.
